Track growth potential and time PGR applications with GDD models tuned for Nordic conditions.
What the term meansGDD (Growing Degree Days) is an accumulating measure of season warmth: each day adds the amount by which the mean temperature exceeds a base (often 0 °C). Turf grows by heat sum, not by calendar — so GDD predicts things like plant-growth-regulator wear-off and mowing demand better than a date does.
Eleven surface-performance metrics, including speed, surface firmness, trueness, moisture and NDVI, with trends, correlations and growth potential. Reads the Course Profile and saves every reading to the course account.
What the term meansPlaying-quality metrics describe how the course plays: green speed (stimpmeter), surface firmness, moisture and trueness. Numbers make playing quality manageable — targets, measurement, adjustment.
Bulk Material Mass and Volume Calculator: loose volume to order, tonnage and number of haulage loads from area and layer depth. Loose bulk densities, compaction factors and haulage-equipment capacities are fully adjustable.
Calculates lime requirement from pH, rootzone type and soil-test Ca and Mg values. Includes a buffer-capacity model, target pH, Ca:Mg ratio and product rates for calcitic and dolomitic lime, gypsum and Ca/Mg fertilisers. Reads Eurofins soil-test PDF files by sample; uploaded analyses are stored in the course File Library.
Boom sprayers, spreaders, seeders and knapsack sprayers: actual application rate from measurements, nozzle coefficient of variation (CV), spread-pattern testing and adjustment factors.
Daily clipping volume as the turf's own response signal. GvX = actual growth ÷ expected growth (clipping volume against 20 mL/m² × growth potential), the season's cumulative growth potential as one number, and a relationship engine that compares growth with anything the platform records — nitrogen, growth regulators, wetting agents, mowing height, rolling, verticutting, temperature, rain, irrigation, soil moisture — with time lags, event views and honest data-quality gates. Every morning: what do the greens need — mow, roll, both, or less?
The accounting cost vs. the cost a round truly causes — divots, ball marks, bunker visits, traffic. Seasonal wear factors, player profiles and what-if levers, built on USGA/STERF research.
What the term meansCost per Round divides total maintenance spend by rounds played. It is the course's key efficiency figure: compare seasons, justify budgets and see investment impact per golfer.
